Baptism Sunday

October 22nd, 2017

At Union Houston, we believe baptism is one of the most monumental moments in your new life with Jesus!

Just as Jesus was baptized while He was on earth, we do this to follow His example. Baptism is a public declaration of your faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. It is the next step after trusting Him for salvation and an important foundation for the christian life (Mark 16:16). Entering the water is a symbol of Christ's burial and resurrection; as we bury the old life and rise up to a new life. We are declaring that we give Jesus control of our life while experiencing HIS life changing power (Colossians 2:12-14).

We'd love to have you join us for Baptism Sunday!
